Testimonials about resistance, deportation and memory

The written and oral testimonials offered here have been left behind by men and women involved in the fight against Nazism. Some are contemporary with the events while others date from after the war’s end. Several of the deportees did not outlive their messages.

Of course, this selection is not exhaustive. It presents various aspects of the Resistance and repression from different viewpoints. Other texts may round out the quotations in order to cover as much ground as possible.
