The European Centre of Deported Resistance Members, a place of remembrance, exhibitions and information, pays homage who all those who stood up to Nazi oppression throughout Europe. Many Resistance members from at least 30 different countries were deported to Natzweiler or an annex camp. Every category of deportee was at Natzweiler, but the camps' central administration planned to assemble only Resistance members who had been arrested under the " NN ", " Nacht und Nebel " decree there. That is why the European Centre recalls the meaning of their commitment and evokes the history of the Resistance movements throughout Europe. Its purpose is to introduce visitors to the KL-Natzweiler camp and museum.
