The film From Struthof to KL-Natzweiler shows, in a few minutes, the site as it was before the war, a winter sports resort, until its transformation into a concentration camp that the Nazis opened in May 1941. The super-imposition of images of the past, old photographs and drawings by former deportees on the present vestiges helps to make visitors feel as though they are at the heart of the events that occurred here between 1941 and 1944. This silent film by Grégory Bismuth (Ecole Paris-Belleville) is shown continuously at the museum entrance.
