For a safe visit!

We ask you to read this information carefully before preparing your visit to CERD-Struthof.

After these two exceptional months of closure, CERD-Struthof reopens its doors to the public on Saturday 30 May 2020. This can only be done with specific protocols in place. These measures ensure your safety. Thank you for respecting the instructions given by the agents during your visit.

General instructions

Please respect the safety instructions communicated by the government: Stand 1m away, greet each other from afar, wash your hands regularly, avoid touching your face, cough in your elbow, blow your nose in a single-use tissue. Wearing a mask is mandatory. Masks are not provided by CERD.

Hours

Visitor opening hours are from 10 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. every day.

As the cafeteria remains closed, we offer you a list of restaurants open in the Bruche Valley

Thank you for following the signage put in place using floor markings and wire guides to guide you throughout your visit. An entrance door and an exit door are defined for each building. The agents on site will be there to give you instructions.

Guided tours

Guided tours and educational workshops are not guaranteed. A presentation will be organized on a regular basis in front of Place Delestraint to introduce the site to visitors (In French only).

Prices

As we are aware that the visitor access is greatly reduced, the entry price will be reduced to be half price (€ 3). The free service will remain applicable under the same conditions as in normal times. Please pay by bank card. In case of cash payment, a tray will be used to avoid hand-to-hand contact. The payment terminal will be disinfected after each use by the cashier. Visitor brochures will be made available.

Visitors with reduced mobility

The constraints of reopening during a health crisis do not allow the opening of these spaces, making the visit for this public very limited and restrictive. We strongly discourage people with reduced mobility to schedule a visit under these conditions.

Cleaning the premises

The facility will be completely cleaned twice a day. CERD officers will regularly use disinfectant wipes on all areas that may have been touched by the public. The restrooms in the old camp will be the only one accessible to the public and completely cleaned twice a day.
