In order to be fully successful, the European Centre’s mission of passing on values must result from an ongoing dialogue with teachers. That is why the CERD regularly hosts IUFM students and their teachers and is developing a partnership with the Bas-Rhin CRDP.

Some students who have visited the site have expressed the desire, with their teachers, of giving concrete form to their raised awareness by writing texts, interviewing former deportees at the camp and marking out a road of remembrance from Rothau to the camp, among other projects.
