How to access and use the site

The purpose of the present terms of use is to define modes of access and use of the website Consultation of the site implies accepting and complying with all the following terms of use, which the editorial board reserves the right to modify or update at any time. If you disagree with all or some of the terms of use below, you are strongly advised not to use the site.

Users must comply with the terms of the "Computers and Freedom Act of 6 January 1978", the violation of which is subject to criminal prosecution.

The law applicable to any disputes resulting from use of the site is French law.


The general structure as well as the texts, still and moving images, sounds, know-how and all other items making up the site are the exclusive property of the Ministry of Defence, with the exception of those items from partners. Permission from the author has been obtained to use all still and moving images with a credit not attributed to one of its departments, kept at MINDEF/SGA/DMPA. Despite searches, it is nevertheless possible that we have not been able to identify all the copyrighter-holders of the images published here.The physical and moral persons concerned are kindly requested to contact the DMPA.

The ministry is not responsible for the Internet site's hypertext links to other Internet resources. They are there to help Internet users find other sources of information deemed relevent at the time that the links were created. They are periodically re-evaluated.

The site is protected by national and international intellectual property rights laws.

Any total or partial reproduction and/or representation and/or broadcast of any present or future,electronic or non-electronic materials is prohibited without express prior permission.

Databases are also protected by laws applicable to data compilation. Any total or partial data-mining or attempted data-mining is likely to result in civil and criminal prosecution of offenders.

The Internet site's users and visitors can create a hyperlink to this site without express prior permission from the site's editorial board.
